Big Band Bash

Hello!

The two of us have attended the Big Band Bash most of the years since its inception in 2002 and have enjoyed every one.  In fact, it only seems to get better each year.  If you’ve never attended, you should give it a try.

The evening begins with a concert of big band music in Hedrick Theater at Catawba College, followed by dancing in the adjoining Crystal Ballroom to the music of our Big Band Orchestra, led by Maestro David Hagy.  Music from the big band era, accompanied by wine and a buffet, make for a very delightful evening.

As co-chairs this year, we hope you will be able to join us for this event.  The date is January 9, 2010; the concert begins in Hedrick Theater at 7:30 p.m.  Invitations will be mailed November 30, 2009 (Email either of us your address:  rclement1@carolina.rr.com or Dotty@carolina.rr.com).

We also ask that you consider being a donor for the Big Band Bash.  Donors make this event possible and contribute greatly to the continuing success of our Symphony Orchestra.  We honor donors by including their names on the invitation and in the Program, and donations are tax deductible.

We offer donors of $1,000.00 a reserved table for eight!
