Co-hosts Kent Bernhardt and Kay Peeler bring their assorted cast of heroes, hams and misfits for a time of hometown-based laughter and music!  This year's special performance is dedicated to the memory of longtime local music  fan Foster Owen.  Musical guests include pop-country group "The Hall Sisters," returning favorites Eli Yacinthe and Sarah Claire King, local teenaged piano sensation Jacob Kluttz,  Gold Hill's "Silver String Band" led by Vivian Hopkins, vocal harmony group "the Moonglows" and more!

Soprano Jennifer Rowley, a performer acclaimed worldwide for her unforgettable voice and remarkable stage presence, entertained and delighted us at the intimate "Evening at the Met" Symphony fundraiser last February.  She now returns to perform accompanied by the full Salisbury Symphony and the Symphony Chorale!  Performance will include  Richard Strauss' Four Last Songs, and operatic selections from I Vespri Siciliani, La Traviata and Aida.

Family Concert featuring the Rowan 5th Grade Honors Chorus

Especially programmed for families, this concert will highlight works by North Carolina composers that will be familiar to most audience members, and will feature performances by talented high school students as well as the very popular Rowan 5th Grade Honors Chorus.  (Reduced price tickets too!)

Our ever-popular annual free "outdoor" performance!  Bring a couple of folding chairs and some cold drinks, and join us for an afternoon and evening of fine music!  The Salisbury Swing Band begins at 5:00pm and the Symphony begins at 7:30pm.  Tailgating spaces available too! The first installment of our new "Young Concert Artist Series" featuring talented new artists in concert with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra.  Exciting flutist Anthony Trionfo will perform Ibert's charming and challenging Flute Concerto.  Concert will include Tchaikovsky's elegant Seranade for Strings and Beethoven's dramatic Symphony No. 1.

A Multimedia Collaborative Symphonic Performance

Drawing attention to our nation's heritage as a "nation of immigrants," this performance will include Peter Boyer's powerful and moving symphony/ multimedia collaboration "Ellis Island: Dream of America", as well as Dvořák’s "New World Symphony."
