The SSO and You...

We Make Beautiful Music Together!

Dear Symphony Enthusiast;

We would first like to thank you for your past support, either by your attending concerts or by your donating directly to the Symphony. Our community has a proud tradition of supporting an extraordinarily vibrant arts life for all of its citizens, and you have been an important part of our efforts together!

Throughout our history, our local audiences have been extraordinarily supportive of having a professional symphony right here in Salisbury. Through your support over the years, the Symphony has expanded our concert and educational offerings, developing a truly unique musical landscape for our community.

As COVID-19 continues to challenge our opportunities for sharing live performances, the future has never felt so unpredictable. Currently, we are doing everything possible to sustain daily operations and provide safe programs to our community. While there is a lot of uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt quickly to our changing reality. Now, more than ever, our community needs us… and we need you.

If you haven’t yet become a Symphony Member, we would like to encourage you to do so! You may already know that those who choose to donate amounts of $100 or more are recognized in our concert programs as “SSO Host/Members,” an honor which also earns you a 25% discount on all regular season performance ticket purchases for the year (except for the Nutcracker, fundraisers and flex-pass purchases) as well as invitations to members-only events such as preconcert receptions and social events. In addition, any contribution over $100 to this campaign entitles the donor to a free, limited-edition, Salisbury Symphony Holiday Ornament.

You may choose to make a general contribution, or you can specify how you would prefer to be recognized and where your contribution should be used…. it’s up to you!  If you would like to know more about our donor recognition programs, give us a call at (704) 216-1513.  We would love to chat with you!

Here are the special “Donor Circles” we will be honoring for this year’s program listings:

For gifts of $2,500 or more we also offer limited opportunities to sponsor particular concerts, principal chairs, soloists and educational programs.  Sponsors are recognized both in the “donor circles” listed on concert programs and also separately for the particular items that they sponsor.   If you have an interest in dedicating your particular contribution to a particular concert, artist or program, we encourage you to contact the Symphony office to see what “naming opportunities” are still available.

As always, thank you for supporting the Salisbury Symphony!
